Raising Awareness Among Student’s On Effects Of PesticideThe Farming, Health, and Environment

Nepal Project (FHEN) is a multisectoral approach that focuses on reducing pesticide hazards in Chitwan district. The overall aim of this project is to create an environment where pesticides are sustainably used with minimum risk to human health and the environment. The school health program (SHP) is one of the activities under this project, with the goal of increasing awareness among students regarding pesticides. This activity is intended to be conducted once in every municipality of Chitwan District.

 

The objectives of SHP are:

1. To inform students about pesticides and their effects on health and the environment.

2. To educate them about the role of students in pesticide minimization.

3. To encourage students to share knowledge about pesticides with their families.
