Presentation on NPHF’s Ongoing Initiatives at Ministry of Health and Population Review Program in Bagmati Province

The Ministry of Health and Population in Bagmati Province recently convened a review program that brought together 22 Existing Development Partners (EDPs) working in Bagmati Province. Samana Sharma, the Deputy Director of NPHF, presented an overview of the foundation’s ongoing initiatives to support the region’s public health priorities.
This collaborative gathering underscores the shared dedication to improving health outcomes for the people of Bagmati. By aligning efforts and fostering open dialogue, the government and its partners are poised to drive meaningful progress in addressing pressing public health challenges.

15th Nepal Public Health Foundation Lecture Series

One Year anniversary of the global helath network nepal centre

Today marks the first anniversary of a significant milestone for Nepal Public Health Foundation. On June 14, 2023, The Global Health Network (TGHN), based in Oxford and a WHO collaborating centre, partnered with the Nepal Public Health Foundation (NPHF) to establish The Global Health Network Nepal Centre.
The Centre, hosted by the Nepal Public Health Foundation, was inaugurated with a seminar titled “Building Research Capacity through Networks.” This event marked the beginning of a dedicated effort to enhance research capabilities in diverse healthcare settings across Nepal and beyond. Since its establishment, The Global Health Network Nepal Centre has been committed to fostering knowledge sharing and networking among healthcare professionals, researchers, and institutions. On this day, we celebrate a year of progress and dedication to advancing global health research.
